Dr. Samantha Brand is a double board-certified family medicine and obesity medicine physician with 6 years of primary care experience prior to joining Revolution Medicine.
During her 6 years of primary care, she helped her patients lose weight with both preventive strategies and medication. Her biggest joy in medicine is helping patients get off their medications and feel empowered to live longer healthier lives.
With a Master’s degree in Biochemistry, Dr. Brand has a strong interest in the biochemical processes that regulate body weight. Her professional interests include the treatment and prevention of cardiometabolic diseases, such as diabetes and hypertension.

Her hope is to also extend this great program in Virginia to her neighbors in North Carolina.
To stay healthy, Dr. Brand speed walks wherever she goes and meal preps. She enjoys dancing and even making her own dance choreography. Most of all, she loves spending time with her husband and two children.
