Emily Burnworth, PA-C
Bio
Emily grew up in rural Pennsylvania where a love of travel and the arts eventually led her to the DC area. She spent 6 years working as a board certified Physician Assistant in Internal Medicine before joining Revolution Medicine. During her time in primary care she developed a passion for cardiometabolic and mental health and often saw how these systems influenced each other. She carries a love of people, their stories, and how environment and genetics come together to shape health outcomes. Like many of her colleagues, she came to Revolution Medicine seeking a holistic and evidence-based model to address the obstacles her patients have in overcoming obesity, insulin resistance, PCOS, cardiovascular disease, and eating/feeding disorders. She loves meeting people where they are and empowering them to make sustainable change.
Emily loves acting, singing, hiking, skiing, pickleball, board games, and the occasional nap. She is the parent of a very busy toddler and is figuring out how to soccer mom. She, herself, is in pursuit of a healthy, inclusive, and joyful life and hopes to curate this in her patients' experiences.
